Portraits are an investment. A high-quality custom print will last for years. Not only are you investing in quality portraits, you are capturing a moment, an expression, a personality that is unique to you. Each image is individually edited to make your portraits unlike anyone else's. Angela strives to bring each client a one-of-a-kind portrait experience.

Your session can last anywhere from half an hour to two hours in order to capture the expressions and personality that are unique to your child or family. Since Angela is an on-location photographer, you may choose locations that are important to you. Locations with ample natural light are ideal.

Simple clothing is best. Jeans or khakis with a solid colored shirt will photograph well and not "date" the photo. Logos, stripes or loud colors are not recommended. Make sure the clothes you are wearing are comfortable. Clothes do not have to "match" for a family portrait, but clothes similar in tone work well.

Stuffed animals, blankets or things that will make your child feel more comfortable are welcome. These items can often help bring out your child's personality and help them to feel safer in an unfamiliar environment.

Before the session, a few minutes will be used to determine what the goal of the session is. Getting to know the subject is important and will help Angela to bring out the individual personality of the child. A parent or guardian should be present at all times to ensure safety, and to help with the child if needed. The session will be fun and relaxed.

Although Angela specializes in environmental photography, a backdrop can be used if requested for a more traditional portrait.
